Drivers Agreement

Welcome to our team! As part of the YourNZDriver onboarding process, we hope you don’t mind reading through this agreement (it is not a contract) ensuring you understand the expectations.

Not only will you meet great people along the way, from all over the world but experiences and perks that come with being a professional private driver.

Once you have sent your drivers licences and done a Famil, we can send you jobs via WhatsApp. These will be posted 24 hours, 7 days a week. They are a ‘first in, first served’ basis. If nobody replies, we may ring/text drivers directly to offer jobs. Once accepted you will receive a Google Calendar invite to say YES, NO as a final confirmation. Jobs can also cancel at anytime for whatever reason.

We do not use a Driving App yet. Here are the codes we use once you’ve accepted a job(s) and start using on the day. If you have been given a client or agent contact no. always good to keep in comm’s with them too.

IMPORTANT: Please read through the Vehicles and Driving section for all your responsibilities and the law around driving Commercial Vehicles.

If you are a P Endorsed driver, you are responsible for your own Logbook or Approved Electronic logbook and are familiar with the work / time rules.

Luxury/Private Driving: Our dress standard is Black suit, white shirt and plain tie for men, black leather shoes. Black suit, white shirt and neutral (no brands/logo’d) scarf for women, black leather shoes. Black knee length skirt in summer. This is the standard required by all Luxury 4-5 star hotels and Airport Transfers, Air Center One Jet Facility, Swissport, Helicopter locations (Inbound and Outbound).

We will notify you for each job, when Smart Casual dress is acceptable.

We must respect all cultures, opinions and beliefs. Our role is to uphold a high level of customer service.

Refrain from swearing, road rage and just the usual common sense behaviours. There is also no reason to speed in the private driving industry.

If you have accepted a job and for whatever reason you are unable to proceed, you must contact Tania as soon as possible so we can cover you immediately. Including unforeseen delays, accidents, family situations, illnesses.

From time to time, clients and/or their agents, affiliates of YourNZDriver give feedback and complaints.
Out of respect to YourNZDriver, you agree not to solicit for work with our clients or agents.

We would like to keep a culture of working together as a team and a family. Please help each other out by keeping all vehicles in excellent condition once finished with it.

Carwash products are available in our yard. Not compulsory but would be nice to receive a clean vehicle after use for the next driver. Basic cleaning products are also in each vehicle to help keep tidy while on the job. Touchless Car Wash only acceptable e.g. Washworld 251 Lincoln Road, Henderson, Auckland (no roll-over carwashes). Absolute minimum: cleaning tyres/rims of road and brake dust, vacuum inside of vehicle and remove rubbish, replace bottled water.
